This ad is a very nice example of how the mediation between culture and capital, the local and the global images are articulated sometimes through national consumer goods advertising…you are not american, but a gringo!
The translation of the dialogue would be something like this:

-Americano? (…. The taxi driver picks up a yoghurt and says:)
- Excuse me, …be still, be still…that’s it….(brings the yoghurt towards his face and compare them)
- You are not American. You are a Gringo, can you understand me?
>>> ( voice-off): ”American, there’s only one. New Americano, the one from ever, your Americano, the most firm Soprole yoghurt now with the most delicious blackberry and strawberry mermelades!”
Finally the taxi diver, drinking by himself his youguhrt ….. comments “Americano el perla..(and moves his head in dennial)”
